Charming Stay with a Delightful Atmosphere
We enjoyed a lovely evening meal at the pub, where the fish and chips truly stood out, featuring fresh, moist fish with a light batter. breakfast ordering the day before didn't suit us—more flexibility would enhance the experience. Consider savoring your breakfast at your leisure!

Bright decor and comfortable furnishings make for a great stay. The evening meal impressed with flavorful options that felt well-curated.
Breakfast posed some issues, as it required advance ordering, leading to waste and oversized portions. Some items could use improvement, the hash browns came out overly greasy, and the limited coffee options were disappointing, as cappuccinos weren't available. certain rooms felt stuffy despite the hotel providing fans, suggesting a need for better temperature control or air conditioning options.

The Old Beams room felt a bit outdated, with a hard bed and armchairs that didn't provide comfort during downtime. The bathroom showed signs of wear, like an old leak from the shower tray, and the plumbing could use a refresh. Breakfast choices required advance selection, leading to a bit of waste and disappointing portion sizes, while breakfast drinks were limited to cafetière coffee instead of cappuccinos. The heat in the Cotswold Room persisted despite efforts to cool it down, suggesting a need for better climate control.

Charming and Relaxing Stay!
We had such a lovely time! The staff were super friendly and the place has that cozy, old-school vibe. Enjoyed our fab Sunday lunch in the bar area, but honestly, it was a bit strange that the waitress didn't write our orders down. it was a great spot to chill after exploring the Cotswolds!
